Global “Walk for Peace” Delegation Arrives at Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery

The internationally recognized Walk for Peace, led by the Most Venerable Paññakāra Thero and a delegation of monks from the Mahā Saṅgha, made a meaningful stop at the Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery in Matale during their journey from Dambulla to the historic Aluvihare Rock Temple. Upon arrival, the monks were warmly received and offered refreshments to ease their fatigue. A brief Dhamma talk was then delivered to the gathered devotees, creating a moment of reflection and spiritual connection for all present.
